LT Blasting Mats
BEST BLASTING MATS – LT – Flat Tread-style
- same design and durability as our Ultramat, just 8 lbs./sq. ft. lighter
- constructed of fresh, used light truck (LT)tire treads
- tightly secured together under compression using new 3/4” heavy duty steel wire rope fastened together with heavy duty 3/4” forged clamps and 3/8” steel end plates
- large 12 “ OD lifting ring on each end
- mats are 8 inches thick and available in numerous widths and lengths
- weight – approx. 42 lbs per sq. ft., i.e. 10’x15’ mat = 5700 lbs.
- excellent blast cover over uneven ground, large construction projects – highway, pipelines, quarries, open pit mining
- can also used for temporary road mats in rugged terrain, unstable ground and sensitive environment landscapes
